"What… am I… I doing here?"

A small, fragile girl stood upon the streets. Everything seemed so pale to her, almost haunting, and right before her eyes, there what must have been a riot. How she arrived there was in question. She stared into the crowds. Miraye continued to stand there, barely blinking, barely breathing. What must have seemed forever, stopped quickly in front of her. The riot must have been over. It must have.

She blinked. As she opened her eyes again, a tall man with long black hair pulled his cloak over his head. He passed her, not making even the slightest sound. She didn't bother looking over her back to stare at the man. It felt like he was a curse if she was to even look at him.

Miraye ran a finger upon her left eye. Her scar still felt freshly cut ever since she received it when she was young. She walked a few feet towards the lying bodies. She gazed upon the people who were on the ground, and those who stood. She closed her eyes and remembered the battle that just had happened. As she opened her eyes again, she found herself staring into startling, violet eyes. Miraye gasped and stepped back. The eyes shone brightly and she trembled. Miraye ran. No sense of where she was to go, but her past was to haunt her very being at the moment she saw those eyes.

---

Miraye fell to her knees. As she gasped for breath, dark shadows loomed in her eyes sight.

"No..," she whispered, "No..NO! PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!"
The girl clasped her head, screaming.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

At that instant, her eyesight vanished. All the sounds that had surrounded her had disappeared into silence.
It was complete darkness. Even death was more comforting then this.
"Seryale.." Miraye heard her voice say, "Seryale, why?"

The girl instantly felt a gush of heat upon her fingers. It spread like wildfire throughout her body, pain increasing upn her head.
Miraye opened her eyes, but all she could see was a blinding light of blue.

"No..Not again."

And at that instant those words fell from her lips, the whole country side went up with the light, and exploded, taking everyone's lives who lived on the surface.

"I'm sorry.." Miraye's voice trembled across the dead lands, "I'm.. Sorry.."
