Betrayal?

"Seryale..." Miraye muttered. Indeed, this was of his doing.
"Miraye of the Lantrisch," a figure in heavy purple robes stated, "Please come with us. If you decline-" screams of fright were heard behind her. Stelon and Imera were embraced by swords and daggers. "Your friends will die."
Miraye stood, very silent. 'Dammit, Seryale,' she grimaced in her thoughts, 'You're trying to hold me back, aren't you?'
A faint 'Yes' was heard from the back of her head.
She stood straight, and patted some dust off the figure's robes. She gave him a charming smile.
"I'm sorry, but these travelers are not my friends. Merely servants, but if you wish to do away with them-" She licked her fingers, "I'll do it. I am Seryale's special girl, yes? You do know how.. " she closed her eyes, ".. he gets angered very easily."
The man in the heavy violet robes nodded. "Do as you wish."
They all stood there, waiting. Miraye turned her head slightly, "Um, you mind? You're ruining the moment."
"Oh, sorry."
The tribe turned their backs, leaving a large gap in front of Imera and Stelon. The girl walked towards the two, trancing out the palm of her right arm. A flash of red appeared in her eyes, as she stopped in front of the girls. "Go," she whispered, "Go, for the sake of your lives. I beg you, run, now. If they go after you, I'll stop them."
Stelon didn't agree, and protested. Miraye sighed and slapped Stelon across the face. "GO."
The two looked up at her with stress in their eyes, as they stood up and ran. Miraye revolved her palm in a circle, as a blue shield appeared before her and the tribe. The tribe turned around, confusion upon their face. Disappointment on their faces; no corpses to be seen anywhere. This disgusted Miraye, slightly.
"I banished them into another realm," Miraye muttered as the shield disappeared, and she caught a glimpse Stelon and Imera hiding behind some bushes, unseen by the tribe of the Dark Arts. They watched her, and she bowed slightly. It was necessary for them to do this. She was to meet up with them later in the night.
Idiots, the tribe. They took it well. Hook, line, and sinker. It was the fact they feared her teacher, and were not willing to anger him.
And what was to await her?
Miraye shrugged as she followed the leader.
