Horror.

Stelon watched the scene with a terrified expression written all over her face. She gasped as the man kicked Miraye, a look of horror crossing her face when she saw the blood. She cringed when she heard the second kick, turning back to try and get the Elven girl up, to no avail. The men slowly began to encircle the elf and her as well and Stelon let out a startled cry as she realized there was no way she would be able to do anything to keep them from taking the elf...or the pink-haired girl and herself if it came to that. She began hurling insults at the men, but, of course, none of them did anything to aid her. But she caught a glimpse of the pink-haired girl standing up...what did she think she was doing? None the less, Stelon continued to yell feeble threats at them, hoping they would not notice what was going on behind them. But they did...and she shuddered as Miraye fell back to the ground and her eyes turned a deathly color of white. The men laughed at the girl and Stelon yelled at them once more as they reached for the elf next to her...and then the ear-splitting howl echoed through the country-side and she covered her eyes as the blood-wolf turned and attacked the men.

Not one of the men got away from that wolf; the power that had sent it to their aid was a power greater than any mere mortal possessed. When she realized it was going to be alright, Stelon ran to the pink-haired girl's side and fell on her knees, taking her hand gently and bringing her up to hold in her arms. She looked down at the girl and smiled very softly, whispering, "It's okay...you will be alright. Thank you..." and then the girl passed out in her arms.

Stelon sighed very softly and somehow managed to carry the girl to the elf, laying her down beside her. She wasn't much educated in wounds, and how to deal with them, but the one thing she did know was that the girl's stomach would need to be bandaged. She looked around at the few things with them and her eyes finally settled on her own cloak that had been thrown aside as she ran to help the girl and the elf. She got up slowly to retrieve it and came back, setting to work ripping some of her cloak into a long strip. It was tedious work; while her cloak was not in the best of shape, it was still tough and difficult to rip. When she finally did finish, she began to bandage the girl's wounds, wrapping her makeshift bandage around the girl's stomach firmly, finishing it off with a rather intricate knot. She tore off another piece of her cloak and dabbed the blood away from the girl's mouth, wiping it all away.

She looked at her handiwork and sighed once more. It was not wise for them to stay where they were, and she knew it. Stel looked at the elf and smiled slightly. She was completely awake now, who wouldn't be? They looked at each other a few moments, both sets of eyes saying a million things at once. It was a few minutes before they spoke, and set to work trying to decide what to do.
