A New Journey.

Her frantic footsteps echoed the corridors.
Her eyes were filled with vague tears. "Dammit, Tic!" she screamed as she took a turn that lead into the main hall of the palace. The guards were close behind Miraye, and she was surrounded. All the exits were blocked by men in clean uniforms. The girl jumped onto the long dining table. "Now is not the time to mess with me!" she yelled at the guards. Her heart was in a blaze of fury, and was filled with anger and sorrow. Why did she leave Tic?!

The men advanced towards the girl. Miraye breathed harshly, and glared at her surroundings. She took her blood red cloak, and quickly wrapped it around her and vanished in a blinding light. Had she disappeared?!

"Where is she?!" they cried in confusion, "Secure the exits! She's not leaving!"
A man fell over and landed with a harsh thud. His colleagues encircled him, but only to take a step back. They yelled at the sight. A deep gash on his forehead was made, blood and brains spewing out. They vomited at the sight; he was definitely dead. His neck twisted and his spine was in a dismantled position. The guards shivered. Was this the doing of the girl?!

"I told you not to mess with me at this particular time." The voice echoed the hall. The men looked around, frightened and confused. "You didn't listen; your bastard of a sire trapped my colleague."
Footsteps echoed around the men. "You will pay for his actions."

One man recoiled a few steps, when a gash of blood flew from his forehead. Miraye appeared again, the hood off her cloak. She growled at them, her eyes becoming a deep gray once more; but now, blue markings appearing under her right eye, as her scar on her left eye dripped radiant, scarlet blood. A shadow loomed over her, and she drew out her right arm, as the shadow enclosed into a ball. It swirled around and shaped into a long and beautiful, red sword.

"Death to you all," she whispered. She took a step back, then leapt at the guards, uttering a war cry.
In a matter of seconds, they all held the blood stains on their foreheads; all dead.
Miraye leaned upon the outside walls of the palace. Her scar bleeding fiercely, her eyes now normal, the blue markings, gone. She looked up at Larkin's towers. She slipped her finger upon the blood of her scar, and marked it on the wall.
"By this blood, Tic, I will come back and rescue you."

Help was to be needed. Grey clouds loomed the sky, and it started to rain. Miraye pulled on her hood, drawing one last glance at the castle, and ran off into the woods, in search of two strangers who were unaware of her and she was unaware of them. She was to journey miles and cities, before meeting them, but the vow in her heart was to be accomplished.
"Tic, I will come back for you!"
