Stelon blushed slightly again as Larkin stared straight into her eyes and pulled her rather close to him, calming ever so slightly as he smiled at her. He had a beautiful smile to match his features. She felt her skin tingle softly as his cheek brushed against hers, and she couldn't help but smile. But the smile faded as he spoke...
"What's your name? Who did you come with?"
She tried not to panic, not to give anything away. She was torn, trying to decide on whether or not to give him her real name, or a false one. He had never seen her before, and would not have any reason to link the name of Stelon with that of Miraye's, Tic's, or Matthias'. Still, she knew it would be unwise to give him her real name, if only for the reason Miraye would defnitely not approve. Her mind racing, trying to come up with a name, he began to look slightly impatient. The Shrike was not to be kept waiting.
"S--well...you see..."
Larkin smiled very slightly at her, waiting.
"Siona. My name's Siona."
He looked at her somewhat suspiciously, his eyes searching for an answer to her hesitation.
"I...I don't like my name, you see..."
He continued to look at her, smiling gently as if to remind of her of something. A few moments later she felt that familiar blush creep up to her face as she remembered.
"I came alone."
She said this confidently, praying to the moons he'd buy it, smiling at him very sweetly.
