Those violet eyes were much more shocking when they were staring right at you - and for a moment Larkin didn't speak, but then pursed his lips and proceeded to explain the procedures to the boy, his own eyes a swirling pool of fire.

"I want you to tell me everything you know of Sink. How are those tunnels constructed, so beautifully and quickly? What sort of machinery do you dirty people have in your possession?" However insulting to Tic and his people, Larkin spoke slowly and sweetly. "Where do you permanently reside? Or do you migrate and pollute your betters city by city?" He paused and removed his hands from the boy's face, but his eyes never wavered. "Who is... your leader?"

There was a visible mental jolt in Tic's mind, and Lark saw it, his own mind hungry for the confessions that would surely spill from Tic. No one, no one that Lark had ever encountered could resist telling him their deepest and darkest secrets when they gazed into his eyes. He knew that he had this power, and not did he abuse it. A fear lingered inside of him that if he used his gift too much that it would slowly began to disappear and no longer would he know everything he desired.

Not once did Larkin even blink, let alone move much. He wiped his damp gloves on the pant of his leg, then rested his forearms on his knee. A plan had formed into his mind - perhaps cruel, but it would surely gain him respect from the highest of beings. Perhaps, even the Master of it all himself would recognize Lark's accomplishment; ridding the world of the underground pests. He would destroy them all, take them out. He would take no prisoners. Well, mayhap if he wanted to, but they would surely be wiped out completely. He just needed this little bit of information from this boy. Yes, Tic Synkrat Ideo would be the destruction of his own people, and lead the way for Larkin. As long as he could squeeze out what he wanted...
